When Sarasota Ballet performed at New York City’s Joyce Theater last August, the coryphée sparkled in a devilish variation in Sir Frederick Ashton’s Birthday Offering and made floorwork look effortless in the world premiere of Jessica Lang’s Shades of Spring.
