Under the Tutu Sea[ dm-style ] posted by Khara Hanlon on Wednesday, Apr 30, 2008 | |
When you need a unique tutu for recital, photos, or just for fun, think outside the box. Joanie Bell at Bella Tutus (www.bellatutus.com) designed this ocean-themed one. "It actually has iridescent disc bubbles on the underside. They hang right at the net edge of the tutu," says Bell. Pink, blue, white, and purple are classic tutu colors. But what about mint green or neon orange, animal prints -- or polka dots? If you don't want to get a custom costume from a design company, think about combining a readymade skirt with a bodice of a different color or funky leotard. You can't go wrong because. Honestly, we've never met a tutu that we didn't like. |
