SCHOOL OF DANCE BALLET FACULTY POSITION: Qualifications: M.F.A. in a related field or a Master Degree with 18 credit hours in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience, and/or education and teaching. Professionally experienced ballet teacher, with ability to teach all levels of pre-professional students. Experience required in staging ballet repertory. Performance background with major ballet company essential. Responsibilities: Teach ballet technique to all levels of ballet and contemporary majors, as well as men's class, male and female variations, partnering, and classical repertory for beginning, intermediate, and/or advanced level students. Present students in concerts and workshops. Advise and evaluate students on a regular basis. Attend School of Dance faculty meetings. Serve on appointed committees. Participate in recruitment of and auditions for new students. Participate in School of Dance community outreach programs. Fulfill duties as assigned by the Dean.
