Watch PNB Rehearse Live Tonight

February 18, 2016

Next week, Pacific Northwest Ballet will grace New York City with two programs of exciting work—one of entirely Balanchine rep, and one of contemporary innovators William Forsythe, David Dawson and Crystal Pite. If you’re like me and can’t wait until Wednesday to see PNB’s interpretation of Balanchine’s Square Dance, Prodigal Son and Stravinsky Violin Concerto, you’re in luck. The company will be live-streaming their rehearsal tonight at 5:30 pm PST (8:30 EST).

There’s lots to look forward to—a fresh perspective on Balanchine, a diverse program, the return of luminous principal Noelani Pantastico after her seven year leave with Les Ballets de Monte Carlo (who also perform in New York this week). Take note—the livestream won’t be available after the fact, so be sure to tune in tonight! Happy watching, and happy weekend.
