Cynthia Erivo and Misty Copeland in “No Good Deed”

The star-studded trio of Cynthia Erivo, Misty Copeland, and Kyle Abraham collaborated on an evocative short film in honor of the upcoming movie Wicked: For Good. Erivo, who plays Elphaba in the two-part film adaptation of the musical, sings a pared-down version of “No Good Deed” accompanied by just violin and cello, while Copeland dances Abraham’s choreography around and alongside her. Recorded live, the short film was directed by Lauren Finerman, who also directed Copeland’s Flower.

Wicked: For Good will be released Nov 21.
